History and purpose Origins: It was revived from an old local charitable tradition where residents performed to raise money for needy families. Modern focus: Since 2006, it has focused on promoting local and provincial artists through various forms of artistic expression. Tourism status: Recognised as a Fiesta de Singularidad Turística Provincial by the Diputación de Málag
